Being Human at Work, Richard Strozzi-Heckler

The day I walked into Kepler’s bookstore in Palo Alto in 2003 to picked up my copy of Dr. Richard Strozzi-Heckler’s anthology Being Human at Work was one of my proudest moments. Finally, my name in print! My maiden name, J. Clare Bowen-Davies appears as author to the chapter “The Power of Somatics in Sobriety.” As copyrighted material I’m unable to offer the content here. I explore how an embodied approach to addiction recovery can be beneficial, drawing on my personal experience together with decades of work with recovering alcoholics and addicts in California. I hope you find it useful.
